We made these square so you can place them side by side closer to extract into.

Hi Paul, I like the look of these shot glasses but I'm a bit confused about the markings on the side. Surely one uk ounce is equal to 30ml not 25ml & then a double would be 60ml not 50ml? Warm Regards Steve

Hi, we prefer to measure volume and weight in metric. Its less subjective and allows us to sell them all over the world. A good recipe for making espresso, is to extract 1.6 times the ground coffee weight. For example if you dose 16g of coffee into your portafilter basket then aim to extract 25ml of espresso in roughly 24-28 seconds.
