Good basic scales but not very reliable Written by Chris
So... they do the job but..... after a while they start to act up... weight will fluctuate and start counting up and down by itself. They also switch off by themselves and aren't very quick to tare. Water gets into the device easily. Would pay a bit more for better quality.

Decent for the price Written by Ed
These are reasonable scales for the price. I echo the comment of the previous reviewer about scales switching off meaning you have to remember the weight of the espresso cup if weighing a shot. Also, they supposedly refresh every 200ms but that is rubbish; if adding a few extra beans to get precise dose, you often have to wait 3-4 secs for it to register, and I would say only accurate to 0.2 rather than 0.1g. All that said, perfectly adequate for my needs and I don't feel the need to trade up to a more expensive set.

Great digital scales for checking espresso weight Written by Gavin Ridgway
These digital scales are perfect for checking the weight of an espresso shot. I've given them 5 stars, but there is a slight drawback: You need to weight and remember the weight of the shot vessel yourself! The scales can be zero'ed with the shot vessel on them, but the scales will auto switch off by the time you come to weight the actual espresso shot. Irritating, but not the end of the world. The CoffeeHit shot glass that I have is approx. 97g, so I have to remember to subtract this from the displayed value.
