I wasn't sure about this to begin with - the way you pour with the pitcher is quite different, sans handle - but I have really grown to like it, and am now fairly set on getting the smaller 12oz version! The sleeve is very effective at protecting your hands and is also somewhat insulating. The one caveat is that you can no longer rely upon taking a temperature with your hand from the side; instead you can only really make that judgement from the bottom of the pitcher, which takes some getting used to. 20th Oct, 2011
