The bar us of a decent grade plastic and fits well. Not difficult to put in but not falling out either. I'd prefer a slightly weightier item to have to confidence that it will last but certainly does it's job. 15th Sep, 2011

What is the length of this?

Can this be cut to length? Is it solid or is there a hole running through the middle?

Hi, Yes you can easly cut it to the length you need as its not solid.
