Returns & Refund Policy
At Coffee Hit we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
This policy explains your rights and how to return items purchased from www.coffeehit.co.uk.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
1. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations)
If you are purchasing as a consumer online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us within 14 days of delivery.
You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Returned items must be:
• unused
• in original condition
• returned with original packaging where possible
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method.
2. Our 30-Day Returns Policy
In addition to your statutory rights, Coffee Hit offers a 30-day return policy.
You may return unwanted items within 30 days of delivery provided they are:
• unused
• in original packaging
• complete with any documentation
Once received and inspected we will issue either:
• a refund, or
• an exchange
Free returns are currently available for Mainland UK customers only.
3. Returns After 30 Days
After 30 days and up to 6 months, we may accept returns at our discretion for store credit.
In this case:
• the customer is responsible for return shipping
• store credit vouchers are valid for 12 months
Please contact us before sending items back outside the 30-day window.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return unless faulty or incorrect:
• Coffee beans and filter papers (unless damaged or incorrect on arrival)
• Personalised or customised items
For Comandante grinders, seals must remain intact for the item to be eligible for return.
5. Special Product Return Conditions
Some products may have specific return conditions.
La Marzocco Machines
La Marzocco machines have a 14-day return window and may be subject to restocking or return shipping fees.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect please contact us as soon as possible.
We will arrange for the item to be:
• collected
• replaced
• or refunded
7. Warranty Claims
For warranty claims within the UK we will arrange collection and repair or replacement where applicable.
For products shipped outside the UK, warranty claims are handled on a back-to-base basis, meaning the item must be returned to us for inspection and repair.
8. How to Start a Return
To begin a return:

Follow the instructions provided.
Once your return request is approved you will receive an email with return instructions.

High-Value Equipment Returns
Certain high-value items, including espresso machines and commercial equipment, may be subject to additional return conditions.
Customers must inspect all high-value items upon delivery and notify Coffee Hit of any damage or issues within 48 hours of receipt.
Returned equipment must be:
• unused and in original condition
• returned with all packaging and accessories
• properly repacked to avoid damage during transit
Coffee Hit reserves the right to deduct reasonable costs if returned equipment shows signs of use, damage, missing packaging, or missing components.
For certain products, including La Marzocco machines, returns may be subject to restocking fees and return shipping charges where permitted by law.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights where products are faulty or not as described.
