Been on the lookout for a new electric kettle to add to your arsenal? Then look no further than the Fellow Corvo EKG Electric Kettle – our newest addition to our electric kettle family.

Maybe you’re new to the specialty coffee world and are looking for the first time, or maybe you’re a veteran Fellow Stagg lover and are intrigued to see what else they have to offer… Either way – you’re best advised to not pass this one up – there’s a whole lot going for it and we’re here to break it down for you.

Durable and beautiful

Fellow is known for creating visually stunning pieces, and they’re built to last too. As with all their kettles, the Corvo is made from robust stainless steel inside and out, with Fellow’s signature matte black finish on its exterior - making it a hard wearing and alluring bit of kit.

As with the Stagg, the Corvo’s handle is a standout feature, designed specifically to be more ergonomic, giving you a variety of ways to grip depending on what works for you. As the Corvo features a stout spout as opposed to the Fellow Stagg gooseneck kettle, the pour is definitely faster, but with the intuitive handle there’s still plenty of opportunity for pour control.

Perfect temperature control

The Corvo has a wide temperatures range – making it perfect for brewing both tea and coffee. Being able to set your desired temperature can make a significant difference to the brew that ends up in your mug, and the Corvo comes up trumps. Brewing from 40 degrees – 100 degrees, it’s one of the largest ranges you can find on an electric kettle on the market.

And if you wanted to make more than one cup of coffee but don’t want to have to keep re-boiling… the Corvo has that covered too. With it’s thoughtful ‘hold’ switch you can hold the temperature of your water for up to 1 hour post boil!

Added extras

The team at Fellow are nothing if not thorough in their designs and the Corvo does not disappoint! Depending on where in the world you’ve been taught is the correct way to measure temperature – the Corvo has the option to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, so there’ll be no confusion first thing in the morning!

Likewise, pressing and holding down on the main toggle on the base of the Corvo will bring up an in-built timer - perfect for keeping an eye on your brews.

And if that wasn’t enough – the Corvo doubles up as a game console. Yes, you read that right. A game called ‘Wormy’ - the equivalent of the mobile phone game ‘Snake’ - can be unlocked to play on the temperature display (if you don’t know what we’re talking about you clearly never owned a Nokia 3310). Simply remove the kettle from its base, push the Celsius/Fahrenheit toggle back and forth and you’ll unlock this hidden gem! There’s even a Wormy World Championship – so if latte art isn’t for you – perhaps Wormy’s more up your street!
