The Avensi Wave Cyclone Server is unlike any coffee server you've seen before — a handcrafted borosilicate glass carafe that uses two proprietary design features to actively enhance the aroma and flavour of specialty coffee as it brews and as you serve it. Aroma Peak™

The most immediately striking feature of the Cyclone is the Aroma Peak™ — a raised central dome inside the carafe, inspired by high-end wine decanters. As coffee drips from your pour-over dripper or AeroPress during brewing, it cascades over the peak rather than dropping directly to the bottom. This gentle, spreading flow increases the surface area of the liquid and diffuses aromatic compounds into the air above the carafe — intensifying the fragrance of the coffee before you've even poured it. For light roasts and washed coffees with complex floral or fruity aromatics, the difference is noticeable.

Aeration Wave™

The interior walls of the Cyclone feature the Aeration Wave™ ridge geometry — undulating ridges that encourage the coffee to swirl as it moves through the carafe. When you swirl the server before pouring, these ridges create micro-aeration that releases additional aromatic compounds, softens harsh notes, and allows the coffee to cool slightly towards an optimal drinking temperature. The same principle is used in wine decanting — introducing controlled airflow to open up the liquid — applied here to specialty coffee.

Borosilicate Build

The server is handcrafted from 2mm thick borosilicate glass — the same heat-resistant, thermally stable material used in laboratory glassware and high-end coffee equipment. It holds heat well during serving while keeping the exterior surface safe to handle. At 550ml maximum capacity with an integrated pour line at 330ml, it brews comfortably for one to two cups. What is the optimal fill level for the Cyclone Server?

The Cyclone has a maximum capacity of 550ml but features an integrated pour line at 330ml. This 330ml level is the recommended optimal volume for swirling the server before pouring — at this level the coffee moves freely around the Aeration Wave™ ridges and the Aroma Peak™ without spilling. Filling above the pour line is possible for brewing but reduces the effectiveness of the swirling motion.

Is the Avensi Cyclone compatible with my pour-over dripper?

Yes. The 72mm rim diameter is compatible with all standard pour-over drippers including the Hario V60, Chemex, Kalita Wave, and other common cone and flat-bottom drippers. It is also compatible with the AeroPress. The wide, open rim means most standard drippers sit securely without needing an adapter.

Is the Avensi Wave Cyclone dishwasher safe?

The borosilicate glass is heat-resistant and technically dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to preserve the clarity and longevity of the 2mm handcrafted glass over time.
