Fellow

Fellow makes coffee equipment that's as good to look at as it is to use. Founded in San Francisco in 2013, the brand has built a devoted following in specialty coffee by doing something deceptively difficult: creating products that take precision brewing seriously without making it feel clinical. Every Fellow product — from the Stagg EKG kettle to the Atmos vacuum canister — is designed with the same attention to detail, combining engineering substance with the kind of considered aesthetics that make a home coffee setup feel intentional rather than assembled. Coffee Hit is an authorised Fellow distributor in the UK, stocking the full current range with the Fellow warranty backed locally. We've been helping UK coffee lovers brew better since 2008.

Kettles

Fellow Stagg EKG Electric Gooseneck Kettle (from £141.63) — Fellow's most iconic product and one of the most recognisable kettles in specialty coffee. The Stagg EKG combines precise variable temperature control (40–100°C in 1°C increments), a counterbalanced handle designed for controlled pour-over pouring, and a hold mode that maintains your target temperature for up to 60 minutes. The gooseneck spout delivers a steady, controllable flow rate that makes consistent pour-over brewing significantly more achievable than with a standard kettle. Available in multiple colourways. The benchmark gooseneck kettle at its price point.

Fellow Stagg EKG Pro Kettle (£158.29) — An upgraded Stagg EKG with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing temperature control and hold scheduling via the Fellow app. The Pro adds programmable brewing presets — you can set the kettle to reach a specific temperature at a specific time, arriving to a kettle already at your target temp. For the daily pour-over brewer who wants full workflow automation, it's a meaningful quality-of-life upgrade over the standard EKG.

Fellow Corvo EKG Electric Kettle (£149.17) — A wider-bodied electric kettle with a shorter, broader gooseneck spout — designed to pour faster and with more volume than the Stagg EKG, making it better suited to batch brewing and larger pour-over volumes (600ml+) where a slow precise pour is less critical than flow rate. Features the same precision temperature control as the Stagg EKG. A practical choice for French press, batch brewers or anyone who wants a Fellow kettle better suited to larger brews.

Fellow Stagg Stovetop Gooseneck Kettle (£62.46) — The manual, non-electric version of the Stagg. Works on all hob types including induction, with the same counterbalanced handle and gooseneck spout geometry as the EKG. A kettle thermometer is required to monitor temperature separately when using stovetop heating. The most affordable entry into the Fellow kettle range and a strong option for those who prefer stovetop brewing or want a travel-ready kettle that doesn't need a power socket.

Fellow Stagg Wood Handle & Pull Kit (£33.33) — A walnut wood handle and lid pull upgrade for the Stagg EKG and Stagg stovetop kettles. A purely aesthetic accessory that adds a warm material contrast to the stainless steel kettle body. Currently sold out.

Grinders

Fellow Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2 (£249.17) — A dedicated filter grinder with 64mm flat burrs, designed specifically for manual and electric filter brewing methods — pour over, AeroPress, French press, batch brew and cold brew. The Ode is not designed for espresso; its adjustment range starts at filter-fine and goes coarser, bypassing the fine espresso range entirely to focus on delivering the best possible grind quality for filter work. The Gen 2 upgrade brings improved grind uniformity, better single-dosing performance and reduced static compared to the original Ode. One of the best-specified home filter grinders available at its price, and the right choice for anyone who brews filter exclusively and wants a premium, design-led option. Available in multiple colourways.

Fellow Opus Conical Burr Coffee Grinder (£162.50) — A versatile grinder with a 40mm conical burr set covering both espresso and filter ranges across 41 stepped settings. Unlike the Ode, which is filter-only, the Opus is designed as an all-rounder — covering espresso, AeroPress, pour over and French press from a single machine. It represents a step up in build quality and grind consistency from entry-level burr grinders, at a price point accessible to home brewers who want a single quality grinder for multiple brewing methods. Available in matte black and white.

Brewers

Fellow Clara French Press (from £74.99) — A redesigned French press that addresses the two most common problems with the format: over-extraction and a gritty cup. The Clara uses a fine-mesh stainless steel filter that produces a cleaner cup than most French press designs, and a bloom valve that allows CO₂ to vent during the initial steep without disrupting the coffee bed. The result is a French press that brews more cleanly and consistently than traditional designs, with a flavour profile that sits closer to filtered coffee than the heavy, sediment-rich character typical of the format. Available in 8-cup and 24-cup sizes.

Fellow Prismo for AeroPress (£20.83) — A pressure-actuated metal filter cap that replaces the standard AeroPress filter cap. The Prismo uses a valve mechanism that only opens under pressure — allowing the AeroPress to build back pressure during the steep and then release it all at once during the press, producing a more espresso-like concentrated output. Includes a reusable metal filter for a paper-free brew. A popular upgrade for AeroPress owners who want to experiment with espresso-style concentrates or pressure-profiled recipes.

Storage

Fellow Atmos Vacuum Canister (from £25.00) — An airtight vacuum storage canister for coffee beans. A twist-lock lid mechanism pumps air out of the canister as it closes, creating a partial vacuum that slows oxidation and extends the freshness window of roasted coffee. Available in multiple sizes (0.4L, 0.7L, 1.2L) and materials (matte steel and clear). The most reviewed product in the Fellow collection and a popular gift choice for coffee enthusiasts. Compatible with the Fellow Atmos Travel Cap for on-the-go use.

Drinkware

Fellow Carter Move Travel Mug (from £20.83) — A double-wall vacuum-insulated travel mug with a ceramic-coated interior that doesn't impart flavour to coffee. The slide lid provides one-handed open/close operation and is designed to be leak-proof when closed. Available in a wide range of colourways and two sizes (12oz / 340ml and 16oz / 470ml). The most-reviewed product in the collection and consistently well-regarded for temperature retention and ease of use.

Fellow Monty Milk Art Cups (from £20.83) — Double-wall ceramic cups with a wide, shallow profile designed specifically for latte art — the shape makes the surface of the milk easier to read and pour onto compared to taller, narrower cups. Available in 4oz (espresso/flat white), 6oz and 8oz sizes. A favourite among home baristas working on latte art technique.

Fellow Joey Double Wall Ceramic Mugs (from £25.00) — Double-wall ceramic mugs in a more traditional form factor than the Monty. The double-wall construction keeps coffee hotter for longer without the exterior becoming too hot to hold. Available in 8oz and 16oz sizes.

Accessories

Fellow Mighty Small Glass Carafe (from £20.83) — A compact 450ml glass carafe for single or double-serving pour-over brewing. Clean, minimal design with a cork stopper and clear borosilicate glass body. Compatible with most flat-bottom and cone dripper setups.

Fellow Stagg X Paper Filters — Pack of 45 (£8.33) — Dedicated paper filters for the Fellow Stagg X pour-over dripper. Currently sold out.

Fellow Aiden Coffee Maker Brew Filters (from £6.25) — Replacement paper filters for the Fellow Aiden precision coffee maker.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Fellow Stagg EKG and the Stagg EKG Pro?

Both kettles share the same gooseneck body, precision variable temperature control (40–100°C in 1°C increments) and 60-minute hold mode. The Pro adds Bluetooth connectivity, enabling control via the Fellow app — including the ability to schedule a heat-up time so the kettle reaches your target temperature automatically before you get to it. The app also allows you to save brewing presets for different coffees or methods. For a casual daily brewer who sets temperature manually, the standard EKG is all you need. For someone who values workflow automation or wants to save preset temperatures for different coffees, the Pro justifies the premium.

Is the Fellow Ode suitable for espresso?

No — the Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2 is designed exclusively for filter brewing and does not cover the espresso grind range. Its adjustment range begins at the fine end of the filter spectrum and extends through to coarse. This is a deliberate design choice: by focusing the burr geometry and adjustment range on filter brewing only, Fellow optimised the Ode's grind quality and uniformity for pour over, AeroPress and batch brew rather than trying to cover every method from a single machine. If you need a grinder that covers both espresso and filter, the Fellow Opus is the right choice — it uses a different burr set with a wider adjustment range spanning espresso to French press.

Is the Fellow Atmos canister worth it for coffee storage?

Yes, with one important caveat: the Atmos works best for coffee that has already off-gassed sufficiently after roasting — typically 7–14 days after roast date. Very fresh coffee (1–5 days post-roast) is still releasing significant CO₂, and pumping a vacuum around it can cause the lid seal to weaken as gas escapes. For beans that are past the peak off-gassing window, the Atmos's vacuum seal meaningfully extends freshness compared to a standard airtight container — particularly useful if you buy in larger quantities or want to slow the staling of an opened bag. For everyday use with beans consumed within a week of opening, a good airtight container without vacuum functionality is often sufficient; the Atmos adds the most value when you need to preserve beans over a longer period.

Which Fellow kettle is best for pour-over coffee?

The Stagg EKG is the benchmark choice for pour-over. Its narrow gooseneck spout delivers a slow, steady, controllable flow rate — essential for techniques like the bloom pour and controlled circular pouring that define good pour-over technique. The counterbalanced handle makes it comfortable to hold and manoeuvre at low pour heights. The variable temperature control means you can dial in the exact brew temperature for a given coffee without estimating. For most pour-over brewers, the standard EKG is the right call; the Pro is worth the upgrade if scheduling and app control matter to your workflow. The Corvo is better suited to larger volumes and faster pours — it's less precise for single-cup pour-over but more practical for batch sizes above 600ml.
