Description

The Rhino Coffee Gear 300mm Recessed Pitcher Rinser is a professional in-bench vessel rinser built for busy cafés, coffee bars, restaurants, and juice bars. Installed flush into the countertop, it gives baristas an always-on rinsing point directly at the espresso station — no trips to the sink, no workflow interruption. At 300mm in length it comfortably accommodates multiple milk pitchers at once, and the Spinjet valve technology delivers a more thorough mechanical clean than conventional rinsing valves.

Spinjet Valve — Spray and Spin Simultaneously

The centrepiece of this rinser is the Rhino Spinjet valve, which sprays and spins water at the same time. This dual-action mechanical cleaning is significantly more effective at removing stubborn milk residue, coffee grounds, and other beverage residues than valves that spray in a single direction alone. The Actuator Star design means both small and large vessels can be cleaned effectively, and an optional Blender Adapter Kit extends compatibility to blender jugs, milkshake cups, and larger vessels such as Blendtec and Vitamix jugs.

Honeycomb Drain Tray and Sloped Body

The drain tray uses a honeycomb grate design that minimises the surface area in contact with liquid — reducing the static build-up that causes odour and residue in flat-bottomed rinsers. The rinser body is optimally sloped and angled to direct liquids away efficiently, and a wide grate-free opening near the drain makes it easy to discard larger volumes of liquid quickly. The result is a cleaner, lower-maintenance rinser between full cleans.

NSF Certified, 304 Stainless Steel

The rinser is constructed from 304 stainless steel and is NSF certified to NSF/ANSI 169 — the food equipment and devices standard — making it suitable for professional food service environments and confirming it meets the hygiene requirements of commercial hospitality settings.

Installation Requirements

This is a recessed in-bench installation that requires a countertop cutout. A cutout template is available to download . Key installation notes:

  • Dimensions (approx): 231mm wide x 354mm long x 85mm deep (depth from drain elbow to top of bench)
  • At least 150mm of clearance under the bench is required for connections
  • Maximum operating pressure: 2.4 bar (35 psi) — a Pressure Limiting Valve is recommended when connecting to mains water
  • Drain hose: 25mm (1") size
  • Flow rate: approximately 120 litres per hour
  • Tubing and adapters are not included and must be sourced separately

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Spinjet valve work?

The Spinjet valve sprays and spins water simultaneously when the actuator is pressed, creating a rotational mechanical cleaning action across the vessel surface. This dual-action approach removes milk residue, coffee grounds, and beverage build-up more effectively than conventional single-direction spray valves — which is particularly useful for removing fats and proteins from milk pitchers that have been steaming milk repeatedly throughout a service.

What vessels can be rinsed with the 300mm rinser?

Milk pitchers, keep cups, jugs, and similarly-shaped vessels used in coffee and beverage service can all be rinsed directly. The Actuator Star design accommodates a range of vessel sizes. For larger vessels such as blender jugs, milkshake cups, Blendtec or Vitamix jugs, the optional Blender Adapter Kit provides an extended rod and larger actuator plate.

Does it include plumbing fittings and tubing?

No — tubing and adapters are not included with the rinser and must be sourced separately. A Rhino Pitcher Rinser Install Kit is available and includes the fittings required for connection. It is strongly recommended to have the physical rinser in hand before cutting into the benchtop, as dimensions can vary slightly in manufacturing.

What are the installation requirements?

The rinser requires an in-bench cutout based on the provided template (downloadable from the product page). At least 150mm of under-bench clearance is needed for drain hose connection and fittings. A Pressure Limiting Valve is recommended when connecting to mains water to keep operating pressure within the 2.4 bar (35 psi) maximum. The drain hose is 25mm (1") in diameter.

Is it NSF certified?

Yes. All Rhino Coffee Gear pitcher rinsers are NSF certified to NSF/ANSI 169 — Special Purpose Food Equipment and Devices — confirming compliance with food service hygiene standards for commercial use.

Is there a larger version available?

Yes — the Rhino Coffee Gear 600mm Recessed Pitcher Rinser is also available for higher-volume environments or bars where multiple pitchers need to be rinsed simultaneously across a longer station.
